Planning To Go Out This Weekend? Think Again! Netflix' Mindhunter Will Be Your Next Binge!
It's been a while since Netflix has come out with a real good original that requires immediate binging. Ozark was a hit but not necessarily a show you could watch in a day, unless you wanted to get depressed.
This Friday, Netflix releases its newest crime drama Mindhunter by veteran director David Fincher (Zodiac, House of Cards) The show consists of 10 episodes and has already been renewed for a 2nd season!
Netflix must really be confident that viewers will love this show.
Set in 1979, in the early days of criminal psychology and criminal profiling at the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Mindhunter revolves around FBI agents Holden Ford played by Jonathan Groff (Glee, Looking) and Bill Tench played by Holt McCallany (Blue Bloods), who interview imprisoned serial killers in order to understand how such criminals think and apply this knowledge to solving ongoing cases.
Anna Torv also stars as Wendy, a psychologist; based on Dr. Ann Wolbert Burgess.
It is based on the true crime book Mind Hunter: Inside The FBI's Elite Serial Crime Unit written by Mark Olshaker and John E. Douglas and adapted for Netflix by Joe Penhall
