BAND AID | COMEDY - ROMANCE | Official selection: Sundance Film Festival | English | 92 min. | Rated R

From IFC Films SYNOPSIS: "Band Aid, the refreshingly raw, real, and hilarious feature debut from Zoe Lister-Jones, is the story of a couple, Anna (Zoe Lister-Jones) and Ben (Adam Pally), who can’t stop fighting. Advised by their therapist (Retta) to try and work through their grief unconventionally, they are reminded of their shared love of music. In a last-ditch effort to save their marriage, they decide to turn all their fights into song, and with the help of their neighbor Dave (Fred Armisen), they start a band. A story of love, loss, and rock and roll, Band Aid is a witty and perceptive view of modern love, with some seriously catchy pop hooks to boot."

The Sundance Film Festival had so many great movies coming out this year! One of the most interesting films to me was Band Aid! It stars Zoe Lister-Jones as Anna and Adam Pally as Ben, a couple on the verge of divorce. They decide to work through their problems by starting a band and singing the best of their fights in song. It was certainly a funny and interesting concept and I couldn't wait to see the film!

Zoe Lister-Jones wore many hats in this movie! She is the writer, producer, actress, performer, singer, songwriter and also made her directorial debut! She did such a wonderful job! Another terrific thing that Zoe did was hire an all-female production crew for this project. It is hard to believe that this is not done more! They did a truly impressive job and hopefully this will open the door more for everyone within the film industry.

This was the first time Zoe worked with Adam Pally. I thought that they had an incredible chemistry and through out the entire film, we are rooting for Anna and Ben to come together. I love the music in the movie and the idea that no matter what you're going through, if you can find common ground, the fighting is more fighting to stay together versus fighting to stray apart.

This is the first time I have seen Adam in a main lead role. I have seen him in smaller roles, mostly in Aubrey Plaza movies like The To Do List and more recently, another Sundace movie The Little Hours. I thought he was fabulous and even during the worst of the fights, you could see the love there. It is like a tight rope, both sides of a coin, as it is in life. You truly love the person even though you are totally angry with them. It was so wonderfully performed with Zoe and Adam! Sometimes you fight the hardest to keep the things you love in your life!

This was also the first time Zoe worked with Fred Armisen. Fred has been on SNL, Portlandia and many other great shows, so I knew he'd be funny! Fred is an incredibly talented musician and it was so fun to see him work with Zoe and Adam! The trio were fabulous and I absolutely loved the music!

I have loved Zoe Lister-Jones from a lot of different shows she has been on as she is so funny! I loved how Angelique Cabral (Lauren) and Colin Hanks (Uber Douche) from Life in Pieces had cameos along with people from other shows that Zoe has been on. Chris D'Elia, played Alex on Whitney (Uber Annoying). I loved seeing Jesse Williams (Skyler) and Retta (Parks and Recreation)! Some of the cameos were incredibly funny and you will see these actors in a different role than they usually play.

I found the movie to be truly relatable. It was almost hard to watch at times as it is so truthful and so beautifully portrayed. I love how it is almost a seminar on grief and the differences between men and women. I loved seeing Susie Essman in the film! I loved the relationship and friendship with Hannah Simone's character Grace. Through it all we are truly rooting for Anna and Ben as you can see there is such love there! It was such a great film!

I just love this music video! The song 'Love And Lies' was written by Zoe Lister-Jones and was performed by 'The Dirty Dishes', the music group featured in the movie Band Aid. It features Zoe, Adam Pally and Fred Armisen on drums. It is a cute and catchy tune! It also shows the funny dynamic of how badly Fred wants to be the main feature in the music video! This trio truly shined in the movie, both in performance and musically! I truly loved it!
